From Hank Overin Field in Wayne, Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 entertained Tecumseh/Johnson Post 2/330.
Wayne broke free from a 3-2 lead in the home half of the fourth thanks to a seven-run inning to win 10-2.
The Post 43 Seniors (17-4) will next compete in the Springfield tourney opening on July 17 against ETC Knights-Black at 11 a.m. followed by Nemaha Sports Construction at 1:30 p.m.
From West Point during the Class B Area 5 Junior Legion tourney, #3 Wayne Post 43 secured an 8-0 victory over #6 Arlington.
Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Jrs (13-7) will next face #2 O'Neill at 5 p.m. on July 11 in West Point.
From Ponca during the Class C Area 2 Junior Legion tourney, #6 Wakefield suffered an 8-0 loss against #1 Pender.
Post 81 Jrs (3-13) will look to fight off elimination against #5 Wisner-Pilger/Dodge-Howells at 1 p.m. on July 11.
From Lamp Park in Omaha during the Nebraska USSSA State Tournament, Crush 9U started with a pair of one-run pool play wins.
The Crush defeated Lincoln Sox 9-8 thanks to a three-run bottom of the sixth (Luke Williamson scored on wild pitch and Kannon Kalin scored on an error to win) and Lincoln Rebels 4-3 thanks to a walk-off from Williamson again scoring on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth.
Next up for Crush 9U (14-11-2) will be UBA Gladiators at 9 a.m. on July 11.
