A trio of pool play games were on the docket for the Dirt Devil 16/18s, Ralph Bishop League North Division Juniors games were held for both Wayne and Wakefield, both Wayne Bronco teams began postseason action and Northeast Nebraska Crush 9U returned to action following a 20-day break in games.
From York, the Dirt Devil 16/18s went 1-2 on the day starting with a 4-2 loss against Prodigy 18U - K. Johnson, won 3-0 over Havoc 18U - RLBL and suffered an 11-4 defeat to SENE 18U - Pumas.
The Dirt Devils (21-13) will next open bracket play on June 28.
From Crofton, #6 Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 won 7-3 over #3 South Sioux City to open league tourney play.
Post 43 (11-5) will next visit #2 Crofton on June 29 in the RBL North Division semifinals at 7 p.m. The winner will get #1 Hartington on Friday at the highest seed remaining in the Srs Division.
Also in Crofton, #7 Wakefield Post 81 lost 11-1 at #2 Crofton.
The Wakefield Jrs (3-12) will next join their Srs program on July 8 hosting Creighton at 5:30/8 p.m. Jrs play first.
From the Summer Sports Complex during the Bronco Gold Division (upper 16), #5 Wayne Blue secured an 8-2 win over #12 Tekamah-Herman Gold.
Wayne Blue (10-2) will next visit #4 Pierce White on June 29 at 6:30 p.m.
During the Bronco Blue Division (lower 11), #9 Wayne White won 10-5 over #8 Battle Creek Purple.
Wayne White (2-10) will next visit #1 North Bend Black on June 29 at 6:30 p.m.
From the Sioux City (IA) Tourney, Crush 9U went 3-0 in pool play with wins over Carroll Knights 9U (11-5), 712 Stars 8U (16-1) and Seward Jr. Jays 9U (10-2).
Northeast Nebraska Crush 9U (12-10-2) will continue their Sioux City Tourney on June 28.
