Sarah Karnes of LCC shot a 96 to finish fifth and lead Laurel-Concord-Coleridge to a third-place finish at the Metteer Invitational, held Thursday at Wayne Country Club.
Karnes was the lone area medalist in the 14-team invitational. Wayne did not field a full team and was led by Riley Haschke's round of 103.
Also scoring for LCC were Delaney Hill and Hope Swanson with 106 and Maddy Graham and Sidney Groene with 107.
Wayne's scoring included Joslyn Johnson with a 109 and Lindsay Niemann with a 121.
