Kindergarten students at Wayne Elementary School have been working on plans to Make the Grinch Grin and their suggestions are being printed in this week's Herald.
Students in Mrs. Rockhill's class have these suggestions:
Alex A: I would give him a hug.
Omar C.L.: I would give him a hug.
Max D.: I would take him to Whoville and sing songs with the Whos.
Anita D.: I would do a silly dance for him.
Logan D.: I would give him a gift and some food.
Jack E.: I would give him a Nebraska or a Chiefs shirt. Or whatever his favorite football team is.
Lucia F.: I would give him a hug.
Ivy L.: I would do a funny dance for him.
Frankie L.S.: I would let him wear a Santa suit.
Khloe L.: I would give him a new pair of shoes because his shoes are too tight.
Leandro M.S.: I would laugh with him.
Evelyn M.: I would hug him.
Bella M.: I would invite him to join us for dinner.
Ryan M.: I would give him some food like meat, mashed potatoes and hamburgers. And I'd give him some presents.
Lane P.: I would give him an oreo cake.
Mabel S.: In the movie he likes to sing, so I guess I'd sing for him.
Dawsyn S.: I would give the Grinch presents.
Ethan S.: I would take him to a Wayne State basketball game and hopefully they would win, by a lot!!
Brooklyn T.: I'd say hi!
Logan T.: I will give him an ornament for his Christmas tree.
Paxton V.: I would be nice to him.
William W.: I would smile at him.
Maria Z.A.: I would give him candy canes.
Students in Mrs. Meyer's class have ideas:

Hayden A.: I would tell the grinch funny jokes.
Landry H.: I would invite him to my birthday party.
Jencarlos I.: I would tell him Happy Birthday on his birthday!
Emmy M.: I would give the grinch a heart.
Ashton O.: I would invite him everywhere I go.
Willa S.: I would invite him to places I go.
Kira F.: I would let him have a sleepover to play.
Andrew F.: I would play with him.
Brixtin A.: I would play nice and fair with him.
Cameron F.: I would share my toys with him.
Loyal T.: I would celebrate his birthday with him.
Mitchell M: I would ask him to come to my birthday party.
Alexa M.: I would make a picture of a unicorn with glitter and love hearts and put his name on it.
Gavin M.: I would tell the grinch a surprise, well maybe two!
