Wayne High junior Tori Kniesche was one of 13 girls selected to the Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska softball team as the paper announced its all-state selections Sunday.
Kniesche was also the lone Wayne player selected to the paper’s Class C first-team All-State list, named as the team’s honorary captain.
Sidney Biggerstaff was named second-team All-State in Class C. Honorable mention selections went to Annie Kniesche, Maysn Dorey, Abby Ankeny and Kayla Fleming.
