After joining the cooperative agreement for swimming and diving at Norfolk, a Wayne High student performed well during the most recent season-opening competition.
From the Norfolk YMCA on Thursday, Norfolk High hosted South Sioux City during a home dual.
Kyler Parker from Wayne is the lone Blue Devil on the boys team.
In the team standings, Norfolk High boys won 140-23 over South Sioux City while the Norfolk girls won 147-5 over SSC.
Parker accumulated seven points for Norfolk.
He was on the first place 200-yard medley relay in 1:55.78 while also finishing first during the boys 400-yard free relay in a time of 3:36.68.
The Wayne native placed runner-up in the boys 500-yard free (5:41.21) and took third in the boys 200-yard individual medley (2:19.19).
