Columbus Lakeview edged out West Holt by nine shots to take top honors in the Mac Invitational golf tournament held Thursday at Wayne Country Club.
The host Blue Devils finished 11th in the 17-team tournament with a 401, and were led by Jonah Brodersen, who shot a 94 on the day. Peyton DeWald also broke into double digits, finishing with a 98. Shea Sweetland added a 100, Austin Fernau had a 109 and Garret Reynolds shot a 120
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge finished eighth in the tournament with a team score of 387. Izac Reifenrath led the Bears with a 93, Karsen Klooz added a 94 and Trey Erwin put up a 99. Ty Erwin shot 101 and Noah Schutte added a 105.
Brandt Radloff of Blair shot a 1-over par round of 73 to win individual honors by three shots over West Holt’s Mason Hale, who shot 76. Colton Remm of Columbus Lakeview was two shots behind Hale with a 78.
Lakeview won the team title with a 345, while West Holt shot 354 and O'Neill carded a 357 to round out the top three.
