The LCC Bears are the No. 2 seed in the updated Class D-1 eight-man football playoff bracket and will host Weeping Water in the next round of the state playoffs on Friday, Oct. 28.
As long as the Bears win, they will be the host team for the next three rounds of the playoffs, with the championship game set for Monday, Nov. 21 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
A game time has yet to be announced.
The Class D-1 bracket is as follows:
No. 16 Sandy Creek (6-3) at No. 1 North Platte St. Pat’s (9-0)
No. 9 Hi-Line (8-1) at No. 8 Elmwood-Murdock (8-1)
