Following Greater Northeast Activities Conference tourney play, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls and boys basketball teams were back on the court for regular season action against a conference opponent.
From Ewing, LCC visited Summerland on Tuesday.
The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge girls won 54-47 while the LCC boys lost 62-53 against the host Bobcats.
The LCC girls also won 61-37 over Summerland during the first round of the GNAC on Feb. 3.
In the girls game, LCC led 10-7 after the first quarter as Summerland used a 13-6 second quarter advantage to go up 20-16 at half. Summerland extended their lead with an 18-15 third as the Bears won the fourth, 23-9. Final favored Laurel-Concord-Coleridge winning 54-47 to improve to 11-11 as Summerland fell to 8-13.
LCC leaders were sophomore Rena Rasmussen with 23 points including going 7-11 from the foul line, sophomore Kaida Eriksen added 11 points as sophomore Hattie McCorkindale followed with 10 points.
Other scoring came from sophomore Carlie Kvols with seven points as junior Brynlee Stanley scored three points.
During the boys outing, LCC scoring provided was 14 first quarter points followed by nine in the second to total 23 first half points. The Bears then added 14 points in the third and 16 in the fourth. Final favored Summerland winning 62-53 to improve to 19-2 as Laurel-Concord-Coleridge fell to 7-14.
LCC leaders were senior Gibson Roberts with 21 points as seniors Eli Haisch and Caleb Erwin both added nine points.
Other scoring came from sophomore Cade Johnson with eight points and sophomore Tanner Thompson tallied six points.
