The Hugh O'Brian (HOBY) Youth Leadership Conference was held at Central Community College in Hastings from May 29-31. Every school in the state can select at least one sophomore to attend.
This year, Jolynn Kinkaid and Alyza Leonard were nominated to attend the conference as student ambassadors from Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School by their school guidance counselor, Sarah Beckwith.
The goal of the HOBY Conference is to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within their global society through action-based leadership.
