Area residents driving or walking past the Recycled Rides building on South Main Street may have noticed the building looking a little brighter and more inviting.
Michael Hassler of Wakefield is working on painting a number of murals on the sides of the building.
His proposal for the Recycled Rides project includes a plan to "incorporate visual concepts of all seven panels for the Recycled Rides Building. My color palette is comprised of “earthy” colors to portray the scenic landscapes of Nebraska. The seven panels show bikers traversing Nebraska’s terrain from the western to the eastern border, displaying iconic Nebraska landmarks and its diverse landscape"
