Becky Brudigam (left) and her husband, Mike, spoke during last week's Chamber Coffee. The event, hosted by Tom's Body Shop, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the business. The Brudigams thanked the community for their support and shared their journey toward owning the business.
Dan Rose, one of the former owners of Tom's Body Shop, spoke on the early years of the business and his family's journey from Texas to Wayne. He also spoke of a number of the early employees of the business.
Although no one is sure of the exact day, in April of 1976 Tom Rose opened a body shop on Pearl Street in Wayne. Fifty years later the business is still in operation and celebrated with an open house and Chamber Coffee last week.
Current owners Mike and Becky Brudigam welcomed a large crowd to the Chamber Coffee and introduced current employees of the business.
During the Chamber Coffee, Dan Rose (Tom's son) talked about some of the early employees of the business, several of whom were in the audience.
