Marjorie A. Bellar, 72, of Wisner, died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. 

Services for will be held Friday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Wisner, with Pastor Chuck Rager officiating.  Burial will be in the Wisner Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, April 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are with Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner.

Marjorie Ann Bellar was born Dec. 10, 1950 in Wayne, to Richard and Alice (Grone) Breitkreutz.  She was baptized in Omaha, and later confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church. Marj attended Wisner Public Schools and graduated from Wisner High School in 1969.

 On Sept. 20, 1969, she married Gary Bellar at Christ Lutheran Church.  Marj had worked in the office of Bellar Feedlots.

Marj was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, and its WELCA group. She a member of the Wisner PEO Chapter, belonged to a Bridge Club and Card Club.  Marj enjoyed being outside taking care of the lawn, flowers, and gardening, camping with the family, traveling with Gary, and spending time in Arizona. She loved attending all of her grandchildren’s activities, and hosting family gatherings and social events with friends.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Bellar of Wisner; a daughter, Michelle and Chad Holtz of Bennington, and their children, Austin and Olivia; a son, Travis and Melissa Bellar of Wisner and their children, Cameryn, Emerson and Braxton; her father, Richard Breitkreutz of Wisner; sibilings, Valari and Rod Hosman of Wisner, Jacque and Dwight Green of Lincoln and Bradley and Peggy Breitkreutz of Raymond; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Breitkreutz.
