Private services will be held at a later date for Mark A. Wiltse, 71, of Wayne.

He died Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 at Wayne Countryview Care.
Mark Allen Wiltse was born Nov. 26, 1953 to W. Rowan and Twila (Heier) Wiltse in Wayne. He was a graduate of Wayne High School and Wayne State College. He worked mainly in construction all of his career life. He enjoyed fishing, reading, painting and spending time with family and friends. In his younger years, Mark enjoyed water skiing and spending time at the family cabin on the Missouri river. Many road trips were made to the mountains to go snowmobiling in the winter and go kart races in the summer.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle (Tim) Gesell of Seward; son, Michael (Jess Doerr) of Lincoln; grandchildren, Ryan Gesell, Rose Gesell, and Ruby Gesell; sister, Carol (R. Joseph) Potts of Racine, Wisconsin; nieces, Melissa (Jason) Kobs of Colorado Springs, CO, and Katlyn (Mike) LaScola of Bayside, Wisconsin; uncles Rev. Harlan Heier of Lincoln, Byron (Barbara) Heier of Wayne; aunts, Betty Heier of Wayne and Renee (Don) Cunningham of Phoenix, Arizonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Rowan and Twila Wiltse; grandparents, Willard and Florence (Beckenhauer) Wiltse and Fred and Helena (Bartling) Heier; uncle, Darrel Heier, and aunt, Shirley Heier.
