Private graveside services will be held for Maxine Preston, 97, of Wayne at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
There is no visitation.
She died Wednesday March 27, 2024 at her home at Kinship Pointe in Wayne.
Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Wayne.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Eveyln Maxine Preston was born on Sept. 14, 1926 in Wayne to Levin and Mabel (Sumner) Johnson. Maxine was a graduate of Wayne High School. She was united in marriage to Quentin Preston in 1944 and together they lived in the communities of Madrid and Ankeny, Iowa, and Laurel and Wayne, Nebraska. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wayne. Maxine later married Les Allemann in 2010.
Maxine is survived by her children; four grandchildren; and seven great - grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Quentin Preston in 2003 and Les Allemann in 2018; and a sister, Alice Ash.
