After months of planning, MayDay STOL is taking place at the Wayne Municipal Airport.
Planes from across the country, and even from other countries, are spending four days at the airport, both for the STOL (Short Take Off and Landing) competition and to show off their planes.
Competition continues through Saturday and the public is invited to attend. Food venders are on site and those attending are asked to bring their own chairs.
