A Color Run is being put on by Wayne, Laurel, Wisner, and Wakefield Family Medicine staff and Providers.
The event will be held at Wayne Activity Center in Wayne on Saturday, Aug. 5. Proceeds from this year's run will be going to the Wayne, Laurel, Wisner and Wakefield school track teams.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the race starting at 9:30. Pre-registration is recommended, but not required.
The cost is $20 per person OR $60 per family of 3 or more. If pre-registered, they will get a shirt. Anyone interested in being part of the event is asked to email familymedcolorrun@gmail.com for registration forms or visit any of the clinics to get a registration form.
Businesses have been asked if they would like to sponsor the color run. There are three different tiers: Gold which is for anyone who makes a $300 donation or more; Silver which for those making a $200 donation and Bronze, which requires a $100 donation. In addition, donors can be a team player for donations under $100.
Anyone interested in donating is asked to make checks out to Wayne Family Medicine - Color Run. Checks can be dropped off at any of the clinics involved. Anyone with questions is asked to contact Megan Sokol at the clinic (402) 375-2500.
