Rolling Hills Supply Wayne Post 43 took part in a regular season North vs. South Ralph Bishop League doubleheader, Tri County League regular season youth baseball concluded for Wayne Bronco and Didget teams, a pair of Dirt Devil softball teams traveled out of town and Wakefield Post 81 also saw action in a Juniors only contest.

From West Point, Post 43 suffered a pair of losses at West Point. The Wayne Srs dropped a 6-2 decision while the Jrs lost 7-1.

Both Rolling Hills Supply teams will next open Ralph Bishop League tourney play this weekend. The Wayne Jrs (10-5) will either be the #5 or #6 seed which is being determined following Thursday night's Pierce vs. Ponca Jrs game.

The Post 43 Srs (13-2) had a 10-game winning streak snapped and will host June 28 action as the #2 team in the North Division facing #7 South Sioux City at 2 p.m.

 

From the Summer Sports Complex, the Wayne Blue Broncos dropped an 11-4 decision while the Didgets won 4-3 against Wakefield thanks to a go-ahead bases loaded walk in the bottom of the fifth.

Both Wayne Blue teams finish their regular season at 9-2.

From Tekamah, the Wayne White Broncos lost 12-7 while the Didgets won 13-2 at Tekamah-Herman Gold.

The Wayne White Broncos are now 1-10 as the Didgets finished their regular season at 7-4.

Tri County League brackets will begin on June 26 for Didgets and June 27 for Broncos.

Both Wayne Didget teams qualified for the Gold Division (upper 16). #4 Wayne Blue will host #13 Tilden while #9 Wayne White will travel to #8 Oakland-Craig Orange both on June 26 with tentative game times set for 6 p.m.

In the Bronco Gold Division (upper 16), #5 Wayne Blue will host #12 Tekamah-Herman Gold on June 27. Game time is TBA.

During the Bronco Blue Division (lower 11), #9 Wayne White will travel to #8 Battle Creek Purple also on June 27. Game time is TBA.

From West Point, the Dirt Devil 16/18s began with a 10-4 win but followed with a 9-1 loss at West Point.

The Dirt Devils (20-11) are off until June 27 opening the York Mid-Summer Blast.

 

From Dakota Valley, the Dirt Devil 14s won 16-8 and 5-4 thanks to Zoe Myer scoring on an error to win game two.

The Dirt Devils (23-9-1) will next host Ponca on June 25 at 6/7:30 p.m.

 

From Eaton Field, the Wakefield Post 81 Juniors suffered a 13-8 loss at Stanton

Post 81 (3-11) will next open the RBL North Division as the #7 seed at #2 Crofton at noon on June 27. 

The Wakefield Srs (6-6) will be the #4 seed and face #5 Crofton at 4:30 p.m. in Wayne on June 28.
