The Wayne State College Navigators are holding a Military Care Package Drive.

Donations will be given to the Nebraska Army National Guard to be sent to active military personnel.

Items needed are gum, candy, beef sticks/jerky, pre-packaged snacks/cookies/crackers, deodorant sticks, wet wipes, toothpaste and brushes, protein bars, drink mixes, laundry pods, coffee pods, reading materials, decks of cards, games, and notes of thanks.

Donation boxes are available now through Friday, April 3, in these campus locations: Student Financial Services Office (Hahn Administration, Room 104), Student Health and Counseling Office (Kanter Student Center, Room 103), and Holland Academic Success Center (U.S. Conn Library, Room 232).

Do not donate items that contain tobacco or alcohol, items that are perishable, or items that have a short shelf life.

For more information, contact Jen Canham, campus visit coordinator in the Wayne State Admissions Office, at 402-375-7082 or jecanha1@wsc.edu.

The Navigators are a select group of Wayne State students who have demonstrated academic achievement and leadership on campus. The main mission of the Navigator team is to provide a favorable image of Wayne State to its many publics: prospective students, parents, high school guidance counselors, and the larger community.

The Navigators are the official student representatives of the college. They host tours for prospective students and families, serve as hosts for a variety of campus events, and participate in special admission and recruiting events throughout the year.
