Wayne State’s women rallied from a 17-point deficit with 9:27 remaining to tie the score with 22 seconds to play, but Minnesota State’s Taylor Drost ruined the comeback by sinking a jumper with 1.8 seconds remaining to give the visiting Mavericks an 80-78 victory.
