The Wayne High Mock Trial team traveled to Lincoln Dec. 11 for day one of the Nebraska State Mock Trial competition. In the first trial of the day, Wayne competed against York and the second trial put Wayne against Perkins County. Both trials Wayne presented the defense side. The team finished third out of 12 teams, the highest a Wayne team has ever finished. Members of the team include (front) Parker Kesting, Ava Elliott and Mason Ley. (middle) Liberty Titiml, Madalyn Franta and Jordyn Clinchard. (back) Nyamalo Kantai, Adrienne Anderson and Aidan Bohnert. Also taking part in State Mock Trial was Student News Reporter Josie Ley. The team is coached by Josh Johnson, Volunteer Coach Judge Bob Ensz and Volunteer Coach Sandy Brown.
