In the fall of 2010 Melissa Hansen was asked to be part of a committee to start a mom's group in Wayne. The group became part of the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group.
“MOPS was a huge part of me feeling connected as a new mom and a new member of the Wayne community after we moved here in 2010," said Hansen.
A 15 year reunion was held on March 8 at Journey Church in Wayne.
All members from 2010-present were invited to celebrate 15 years of MomCo (previously MOPS) to gather together for food, fun and fellowship.
MomCo encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.
