A wide variety of topics were on the agenda when the Wayne City Council met on Tuesday.
These included the payment of claims for several projects, certificates of substantial completion for two portions of the Well House and Municipal Well 2025-1 Project and requests for the waiving of rental fees for the Freedom Park Shelter House and Wayne City Auditorium.
Following a public hearing, a resolution was unanimously approved for a Use by Exception Request from Darin Jensen, dba Wildcat Lanes.
Jensen would like to place gravel, slag or crushed concrete in the backyard of property at 1215 Lincoln Street to allow for overflow parking from Wildcat Lanes.
An update was given on the Downtown Improvement and Safety Committee (DISC) Master Plan.
Council members were given an update on the 1100 East 10th Street Planning Study.
The Wayne City Council will next meet in regular session on Monday, Sept. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers.
