The Nebraska Military Department kicked off a new initiative to strengthen ties between the Nebraska Military Department and the Wayne community during two ceremonies on Sept. 16.
The Community Partnership Program is a Nebraska Military Department (NMD) initiative designed to strengthen the NMD’s ability to support local citizens and communities by recognizing and developing enduring relationships within local communities while carrying out activities to build trust, sustain open lines of communications and enhance the overall readiness for emergency responses.
On Sept. 15 and Sept. 16, NMD leaders participated in various activities and engagements with local Wayne area leaders. These activities included a Wreath Placing Ceremony and a Community Partnership Signing Ceremony on Sept. 16.
