In a small community, when someone needs help, neighbors are quick to respond.
Recently, Mark Ebmeier faced a health issue that kept him sidelined for several months. With harvest season approaching, members of Immanuel Lutheran Church and friends of the Ebmeier family stepped forward to see how they could help bring in his crops.
On October 6, combines rolled into the fields, accompanied by grain trucks and numerous volunteers, all donating their time and effort to ensure the harvest was completed.
The volunteers were able to complete the soybean harvest that day, while the corn harvest will take place later in the season.
