Joining the staff at Wayne America, Inc. recently are Elise Reese, Assistant Director of Housing Development and Morgan Woodward, Assistant Director or Marketing and Tourism.
Reese joined the team late last fall and Woodward in mid-January.
The two join Luke Virgil, Director of Economic Development and Rachel Miller, Assistant Director of Membership & Chamber Services.
According to information provided by the office, "Elise brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having built a remarkable career in Long Term Care before joining the Wayne, America team on Nov. 25. With expertise spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, human resources, sales and marketing, management, and being a licensed Assisted Living Administrator, Elise is excited to work with the Wayne Community Housing Development Corporation and the local community."
Among her interests with her new position are accessible and affordable housing for all, specializing in geriatric housing.
Outside of her professional life, Elise is "a proud mother to two children, Isaac and Layla, and a loving pet owner to two playful kittens, Luna and Moon, as well as her English Bulldog, David." She has a deep passion for helping others and is also a karaoke enthusiast, always ready to belt out her favorite tunes!
"My goal is to help the residents of Wayne County with housing needs. Having so much experience and knowledge in the assisted living world, I am excited to continue helping older community members with their unique housing requirements," Elise said.
Woodward joins the team with a strong background in marketing and event management, complemented by over five years of experience in HR and business administration. With "a keen passion for social media marketing, digital analytics, and tourism, she is well-equipped to make a lasting impact in promoting and growing our community."
Morgan has quickly hit the ground running, bringing fresh, innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the team.
She is especially interested in social media marketing, digital analytics and tourism.
Morgan resides in Wayne with her husband, Luke, and their daughter, Lorna. She’s excited to contribute to the team’s success and help shape the future of Wayne America.
"Having personally moved to Wayne as an adult transplant, it's vital to create and establish resources to help new residents feel welcomed to our community, so I'm excited to spearhead that project," she said.
