Stacy Uttecht recently began her duties as the principal at St. Mary's Elementary School in Wayne.
The Clearwater native earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State College in 1991 and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership form Creighton University in 2016
She and her husband have four children and live in Wisner, where he is the principal at Wisner-Pilger Junior-Senior High School.
Uttecht has taught in various places, including Wayne, McPherson County, Clearwater and Wisner Head Start. For the past eight years she taught PreK/Kindergarten and was head teacher at St. Wenceslaus Catholic School in Dodge.
“I am very excited to be joining the St. Mary’s Catholic School family. St. Mary’s Catholic School has seen huge growth in the last 10 years and I look forward to pursuing continued growth in academics, service, and spiritual formation in all of our students.
