Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) reported 11 new confirmed, positive cases of COVID-19 in the health district made up of Cedar, Dixon Thurston and Wayne Counties on Sunday.
As of May 24, test reports indicate there have been 836 COVID-19 tests conducted, with the following results: 104 positive cases (Cedar - 7, Dixon - 29, Thurston - 54, and Wayne County - 14); 709 negatives, and 23 tests currently pending results. Sunday’s new patients, four females and seven males, live in Dixon, Thurston and Wayne Counties, and are in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.
