Noel Edward Bennett, 85 of Wahoo, died Tuesday, Feb.11, 2025 at South Haven Nursing home in Wahoo.
Private family graveside service will be at a later time
Noel Edward Bennett was born Oct. 26, 1939 in Wayne to Earl and Marjorie (Austin) Bennett. He was baptized at the First Church of Christ in Wayne. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1957. He married Alice Fuoss on Feb. 5, 1961 and they had two sons, Gregg and Rod. He remarried Karen Allen on Nov. 22, 1995.
Noel spent much of his life farming west of Wayne. He had a great love for thoroughbreds and had many race horses over the years. He enjoyed going to horse and cattle sales and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
Noel is survived by his sons, Gregg Bennett, Rod (Tammy) Bennett; grandchildren, Heather Bennett, Jennifer Bennett & Brooke Bennett, Travis (Megan) Bennett, Kayla (Dylan) McGill and Zane Bennett; Great grandchildren, Brodi Christensen and Khloe Fuehrer, Madison, Miley and Maggie McGill, and Gemma Bennett; brother, Gaylin (Arlene) Bennett; sister-in-Law Fauneil Bennett; nieces Jolene Bennett, Tina (Kevin) Borgelt and Teresa (Nick Strawn) Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marjorie Bennett; wife, Karen Bennett and brother, Evan Bennett.
