It's been a busy spring for the Northeast Nebraska Crush youth baseball team.
All three teams were in action this past weekend with the Crush 11u in Columbus, Crush 10u at Blair and Crush 8u had a pair of road games in Columbus.
From Columbus, Crush 11u won May 3 games over Omaha Tigers Red (9-2), Kearney Titans (7-2) and Mariners Blue (10-9) before securing May 4 victories of 4-2 against Omaha Gladiators Black and 3-2 in the finals over Nebraska Prime Navy. The Crush improved to 11-3 on the season.
In Blair, Crush 10u started with May 3 wins of 25-6 over Memorial and 16-6 against Arlington Maroon before winning twice on May 4 against Ashland Bluejays (6-3) and Grizzlies (21-5). The Crush remained undefeated at 9-0.
Back in Columbus for a doubleheader on May 4, Crush 8u won 17-3 and 20-0 against Columbus Mariners. The Crush improved to 3-4.
Next up for the Northeast Nebraska Crush teams will be a tournament for Crush 10u in Gretna and 8U will be in a tournament in Columbus both starting on Saturday, May 10. The Crush 11u team is off until Friday, May 16 in Omaha.
