The Nebraska School Activities Association has released the football schedules for 2022 and 2023 for high school football teams across the state.
Unlike other sports, the NSAA handles all scheduling of football for 11-man, 8-man and 6-man teams across the state. Schools declare by Dec. 1 which level they will play and the NSAA classifies schools based on male enrollment for grades 10-12 for the coming year.
Wayne will open the 2022 season at Omaha Roncalli in Week 1 before coming home to host Douglas County West. Other home games include Raymond Central,, Pierce and West Point Beemer, while road games include Fort Calhoun, Boone Central, Norfolk Catholic and O’Neill.
