Parker finishes second in 50 free, third during 100 free for Norfolk

A third outing took over the Norfolk Swimming schedule in less than a week as Wayne’s Kyler Parker helped the Panthers to their second dual win.

From Fremont, Norfolk Swimming, a co-op in which the Wayne boys are a part of showcased a Blue Devil representative.

In boys dual, Norfolk won 104-74 while the Norfolk girls won 110-71 against Fremont also on Tuesday.

Parker finished runner-up in 50 freestyle (23.98) and third during the 100 freestyle (54.32).

Parker swam a leg on the first place 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in a time of 1:34.01 along with being on the runner-up team during the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay in a time of 3:27.69. Split times not available.

The Wayne native will join the Norfolk Swimming team for the Columbus Invite on Saturday, Dec. 14 starting at 11:30 a.m.
