Pender Community Health (PCH) has received a 2026 Governor’s Wellness Sower Award, recognizing the organization’s commitment to creating a workplace that supports employee health and well-being.
The Governor’s Wellness Award recognizes Nebraska organizations for efforts to build healthier workplaces and support employees’ physical, mental, emotional, social and financial well-being. The Sower Award recognizes organizations taking steps to encourage workplace wellness.
The Governor’s Wellness Award is sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and administered by the Panhandle Worksite Wellness Council, part of the Panhandle Public Health District. Since the program began in 2008, 592 awards have been presented to organizations across Nebraska.
