Phyllis V. Frahm, 95, of Carroll, died Friday, March 18, 2022 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Services will be held Tuesday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Winside. P.M.A. Glenn Kietzmann will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Carroll.
Memorials may be directed to the Frahm family for later designation.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Phyllis Virginia Frahm was born Jan. 29, 1927 in Wisner to William and Hattie (Luedeke) Wegner. She was baptized April 3, 1927 at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Wisner. Phyllis was confirmed on May 11, 1941 at St. John’s Church in Battle Creek. She attended Wisner Zion Lutheran School, Battle Creek Lutheran School and graduated from Battle Creek High School. Phyllis married Allen Frahm on Jan. 13, 1950 in Madison and the couple was blessed with three children. Together they made their home in Carroll, with Phyllis later moving to Wayne. Phyllis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Winside.
Phyllis enjoyed the many years she worked at the grocery store in Carroll. She always looked forward to coffee with the ladies, and spending time with their friends. But most of all, she cherished her family.
Survivors include her children, Bonnie Hansen of Norfolk, Roger (Pat) Frahm of North Loup, and Mark (Dani) Frahm of Yankton, South Dakota; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen, in 1989; and brother Elmer (Delores) Wegner.
Pallbearers will be Phyllis’ grandchildren.
