PMC Home Health & Hospice to host tree lighting service

Posted

Providence Medical Center Home Health & Hospice invites the community to its Annual Tree Lighting Service on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., a treasured tradition that has been held for more than 25 years.

What began as a small outdoor gathering has grown significantly over the decades - moving from outside Providence Medical Center, to the hospital front lobby, then to the courtyard, and later to the hospital auditorium. This year, the event has officially outgrown our facility, prompting a new location at the United Methodist Church to better accommodate the increasing number of attendees.

The Tree Lighting Service ushers a meaningful season of remembrance, offering families a space to honor their loved ones who have passed this year.

The ceremony includes music, candle lighting, and the reading and recognition of those being remembered, creating a comforting and reflective atmosphere for all who attend.

This event is made possible each year through the dedication of the volunteers and employees, who come together to lovingly prepare a thoughtful experience for our bereaved families.

The community is warmly welcomed to join organizers for this heartfelt tradition of remembrance, support, and connection at the United Methodist Church, which is located at 516 Main Street in Wayne on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.
