Providence Medical Center has announced that its Inpatient Nursing Department has received the SFM Safe Patient Handling Injury Prevention Grant, awarded by SFM Work Comp Experts. The grant will support the purchase of specialized equipment designed to reduce ergonomic risks associated with patient handling.
By reducing strain during patient movement and transfers, the new equipment will help prevent workplace injuries and promote a safer care environment.
