Police says to watch out for counterfeit bills

The Wayne Area Economic Development Office has been alerted by the Wayne Police Department that counterfeit $20 bills are being circulated at Wayne businesses. It appears that some of the fake bills are being used to purchase cash cards.
The police department said a number of reports of this type of activity were reported in the community on Thursday.
No other details have been released at this time.
