Plainview, Creighton and Homer advanced to the quarterfinals of the Lewis & Clark Conference tournament after winning their respective pools on Saturday.
In Winside, Homer defeated Winside 25-23, 25-18 to win the three-team pool. Both teams defeated Bloomfield in the other games in the pool at Winside High School.
At Creighton, Wakefield/Allen defeated Winnebago (25-17, 25-22) and Osmond (25-10, 25-22) in straight sets, but fell to the host Bulldogs 25-23, 25-18 as Creighton advanced.
In Plainview, the host Pirates swept their three matches, beating Walthill, Emerson-Hubbard and Wausa.
Both Winside and Wakefield will play in consolation action on Monday. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge got a bye into the championship quarterfinals as the No. 4 seed and will play No. 5 seed Randolph at 6:30 p.m. at Plainview High School.
Consolation games for teams that didn’t advance will be played Monday at Winside and Wausa. Quarterfinal and semifinal games will be held in Plainview and Ponca on Monday, with the championship set for Tuesday at LCC High School.
