The Wayne Post 43 American Legion Juniors reached the North Division final in the Ralph Bishop League tournament with a pair of wins in tournament play last week.
On Saturday, the Post 43 Juniors teed off on Pierce, scoring seven in the first on their way to a 16-1 blowout win.
Eight of the 10 players who saw action scored at least one run and/or had at least one hit in the win.
Jaxson Kneifl led the offensive charge with two hits, two RBIs and four runs scored. Brodey Munter and Mason Heikes both had doubles, and Drew Reinhardt, Gavin Anderosn, Jamison Meyer, Zander Liston and Mason Karsky all had hits. Reinhard, Munter, Meyer, Liston and Alex Rodriguez each scored two runs.
Parker Patefield struggled in the early going, allowing half of his eight walks in the first frame, but settled down after that to give up just two hits and strike out three.
On Monday night, the Juniors put up six in the second against Battle Creek on their way to an 8-1 win.
Wayne took advantage of seven walks in the second inning and added a pair of hits and a sacrifice fly to account for the big inning.
Wane had just three hits in the win, singles by Anderson, Heikes and Calvin Ankeny. Heikes scored twice for Wayne. Kneifl threw a complete-game two-hitter, striking out eight and walking two.
Wayne (9-3) will be at Hartington for the North Division championship game on Thursday at 7 p.m. against North Division top seed Hartington. The winner moves on to the league championship Saturday at Wakefield at 4 p.m., with the consolation game at 11 a.m.
