After earning first round bye’s in the Ralph Bishop League North Division, both of the Rolling Hills Supply Post 43 American Legion baseball teams were to be on their home diamond early this week.
Due to Monday's weather, all North and South Junior Division RBL Tournament games were postponed until Wednesday.
#1 Rolling Hills Supply Post 43 Seniors (17-1) earned a first round bye and were to host #4 Wakefield on Tuesday, July 2.
Wakefield won 2-0 over #5 Hartington in Battle Creek on Sunday.
Earlier this season, Rolling Hills Supply won 10-0 over Wakefield on May 24.
The other half of the North Division in Wayne Tuesday night were to feature #2 Battle Creek (won 3-0 over #7 South Sioux City on Sunday) vs. #3 Crofton (won 6-5 against #6 Ponca on Sunday in Battle Creek).
In the South Division Seniors bracket, #2 Lakeview (won 6-5 over #7 Tekamah-Herman in Arlington on Sunday) will open against #3 Arlington (won 3-0 over #6 Wisner-Pilger/Dodge-Howells on Sunday) in West Point followed by #1 West Point vs. #4 Pender (won 6-5 over #5 Oakland-Craig on Sunday in Arlington).
Again, Junior Division games have been rescheduled from Monday to Wednesday due to Monday weather.
From Hank Overin Field in Wayne, #1 Post 43 Jrs (13-2) will host #5 Pierce now on Wednesday, July 3.
Pierce began the RBL Junior Tourney with a 14-9 win at #4 South Sioux City on Saturday.
Earlier this season, Rolling Hills Supply won 9-3 over Pierce on June 4.
The other half of the North Division in Wayne Wednesday night were to feature #2 Hartington vs. #3 Crofton. Crofton won by forfeit over #6 Wakefield.
In the South Division Juniors bracket, #2 Pender will face #3 West Point (won 9-1 against #6 Hooper-Scribner on Saturday) in Columbus followed by #1 Lakeview vs. #4 Arlington (won 12-7 against #5 Wisner-Pilger/Dodge-Howells on Saturday in West Point) around 8 p.m.
