One year ago, Providence Medical Center opened the doors to its Walk-In Clinic, providing the Wayne-area community with a convenient option for medical care when patients need it most.
Since opening, the clinic has welcomed over 1,300 visits, demonstrating the growing need for accessible, timely health care, close to home.
The impact of the clinic cannot only be seen in the number of patients served, but also in the experiences shared by those who have received care.
The Walk-In Clinic is designed to treat a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
The Emergency Room remains the appropriate setting for life-threatening or severe conditions such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, sudden weakness or numbness, or other medical emergencies.
