At Providence Medical Center, the mission of “Providing Quality Healthcare in the Spirit of Christ” guides every decision we make — from how we care for our patients to how we invest in our services and spaces.
Today, we are proud to share an important initiative that will enhance the quality of care, comfort and recovery for patients across our hospital: the creation of a dedicated Inpatient Therapy Room within our inpatient unit.
For many patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, therapy is a critical part of healing. As a designated Stroke Ready Hospital, Providence Medical Center cares for individuals who require specialized monitoring, early rehabilitation, and focused recovery support.
A dedicated therapy space located directly on the inpatient floor allows patients — including stroke patients — to begin therapy sooner, with fewer barriers and greater continuity.
Building upon this commitment, the Therapy Services team emphasizes the transformative impact this space will have on patient recovery.
