Rainbow World's lower level Remodeled in time for Summer Camp

Posted

Last month Rainbow World Preschool and Child Development Center reopened the lower level of the center after a one week shut down.

This allowed for a remodel and provided a new and improved space for the school age after school program.

With the support, donations, and help of Jason Sears Flooring, Otte Construction Company, The Wayne Area Legacy Fund and Wayne Ace Hardware and Home, Rainbow World is now able to offer a more conducive learning environment for the older children.

This week the summer camp program will take over this space as school gets out and families in the community have signed up for Rainbow World’s revamped summer camp.

Thirty-three children will have the opportunity to enjoy the newly equipped classroom as well as go on field trips, and explore and learn through a variety of planned experiences, themes and activities in the action-packed summer camp.

The children will be led by Camp Counselor Jordan McCormick, a Wayne State College volleyball player and elementary education major. Several spots remain for summer camp.
