Randy Davie, 63, of Wisner, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 at Wayne Country View Care and Rehabilitation in Wayne.

Funeral services for will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wayne, with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner is in charge of arrangements.

Randy Dale Davie was born Sept.18, 1959 at Wayne to William and Sharon (Lindsay) Davie. He attended Wayne Public Schools. After high school, Randy worked as a farm hand and at Great Dane in Wayne.  He went on to attend the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center and on April 2, 1991 was hired as a police officer by the City of Wisner.  Randy continued to work for the City of Wisner until he retired on Aug. 24, 2020.

Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and going to the gun range. He loved attending all of his children’s high school activities.

Survivors include his sons,  Shawn and Samantha Davie of Wisner and their children, Brantley Michael and Landry Joseph and Drew Davie and Kourtney Keller of Lennox, South Dakota and their child, Easton Todd; daughters, Courtney Davie of Wayne and Billie Davie of Dallas, Texas and her children, Ocn and Kili; his sister, Dawn and Bruce Lang of Beatrice and their children,  Chris, Cale, and Taylor; his sister-in-law, Deb Davie of Wayne and her children, Josh and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sharon Davie, and his brothers, Donald “Jay” Davie and Todd Davie.
