A visitation with family for Rebecca M. VanHorn, 44, of Wayne will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
She passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at her home in Wayne.
Memorials may be directed to the Rebecca’s family for later designation.
Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.
Rebecca is survived by husband, Nick; daughters, Leanne Westphal of Lincoln, Katelyn VanHorn (Kaleb) of Wayne and Mandy Jo VanHorn (Jamison) of Wayne; stepson, Austin VanHorn (Savannah) of Elgin; parents, Michael and Vicky Westphal of Gettysburg, South Dakota; great grandmother, Lynne Nygaard of Estelline, South Dakota; sister Jessica (Doug) Larson of Gettysburg, South Dakota, nieces, Delanie (Dom) Warmbein, great niece, Maevalyn, Springfield, South Dakota, Emilie (Tyler) Heilman, Bath, South Dakota, Abbie Larson (Bryce) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sister, Amy (Jeff) Tolsma of Avon, South Dakota, nephews, Chapin, Cameron, Cale, Charlie Cooper of Avon, South Dakota, brother Adam Westphal of Rapid City, South Dakota; nephew, Teghan, niece, Nevaeh Westphal of Onida, South Dakota; mother-in-law, Phyllis VanHorn of Kansas.
