Organization of the board and annual appointments were the first items on the agenda when the Wayne Community Schools' Board of Education met in regular session for the first meeting of 2026.
Following five tie votes and the flip of a coin, Jaime Manz was elected board president. After several votes, Justin Davis was elected vice president.
Deb Daum will continue to serve as recording secretary and Darian Stoltenberg as treasurer.
Two resignations were accepted during the meeting.
