After hosting the two North Dakota volleyball programs in late September, #15 Wayne State College paid a visit north to open the final regular season weekend.
From the McDowell Activity Center in Bismarck, North Dakota, #15 WSC took on University of Mary.
The Wildcats made quick work of the host Marauders with a 3-0 sweep. WSC is now 21-6 (13-4 NSIC) while UMary fell to 4-21 (2-15 NSIC).
Scores of the match favored Wayne State College 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.
Channatee Robles recorded a team-high 17 kills, to go along with seven digs and a block; Molly Romano posted 30 assists, five digs and five blocks as Brooke Peltz led WSC in digs with 21.
Chloe Hanel (.714 with two digs/two blocks), Maggie Brahmer (one dig/four blocks) and Taya Beller (two digs/five blocks) all had five kills as Brooklyn Kusler added four kills, four digs and a block.
Other digs came from Anna Borner (nine), Allie Petry (five) and Rhianna Wilhelm (one).
Beller, Kusler and Peltz all finished with service aces as Romano and Borner both had an ace.
WSC recorded a 245 hitting percentage while holding UMary to .017. WSC also held advantages in points (53-30), kills (36-26), aces (8-1), blocks (9-3), assists (33-25) and digs (57-52).
