Ron L. Kramer, 66, of Wayne, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024 at his home.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Ronald Lee Kramer was born Aug. 9, 1958 in Wakefield to William and Evelyn (Buhl) Kramer.
He attended Wayne Public Schools and then served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1982. Ron worked at John Deere in Wayne and had four children while living in Wakefield. He went on to meet Cecilia Waldron and the two eventually moved to Littleton, Colorado where they married on Feb.14, 2000. Together they moved back to Wayne where they were members of Journey Christian Church. Ron worked at Vakoc Builders Resource near Wayne for several years and was set to retire soon. Ron and Cecilia enjoyed traveling and camping but most of all spending time with the grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his children, Heather Gonzalez of Wakefield, Amber Kramer of South Sioux City, Nicole (Juston) Simeon of Wayne and Aaron Kramer of Burnsville, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; brother, Bill (Lynn) Kramer of Wayne; stepson, Eric (Lori) Waller of Newton, Iowa; nieces and nephews; brothers-in-laws, Jim Granquist of Wayne and Jay Waldron of Des Moines, Iowa; sister-in-law, Marilyn Waldron of Kingman, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cecilia; sister, Connie Granquist; brothers, Wayne Kramer and Larry (Fern) Kramer and sister-in-law Sandra Waldron.
