Families in northeast Nebraska have access to new services while in the hospital thanks to expanded services in a new Ronald McDonald Family Kitchen at Pender Community Hospital.

The Family Kitchen offers heat-and-eat meals, snacks and beverages to families welcoming newborns, or staying by a pediatric patient’s bedside.

“Enhancing the care experience for our patients and their families is always a priority at Pender Community Hospital,” said Laura Gamble, CEO of Pender Community Hospital. “The Ronald McDonald Family Kitchen complements the dining services we already offer, providing added comfort and convenience so families can remain close to their loved ones. We are grateful for this partnership and excited to expand the support available to those we serve.”
