NSAA high school district finals took over Nov. 1 along with Wayne State College football on the road and #6 Wayne State College volleyball back on their home court.

From Laurel during the C2-5 District final, #5 Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won in five sets over #12 Stanton (25-19, 26-28, 25-19, 23-25, 15-9).

LCC (31-3) has now won 12 straight advancing to state for the first time as Laurel-Concord-Coleridge. Coleridge made it to state in 2008 while Laurel-Concord qualified in 2002 earning a Class C2 runner-up finish. 

From Shelton in the D1-5 District final, #12 Tri County Northeast suffered a 3-0 loss at #5 Shelton (18-25, 15-25, 20-25).

The Wolfpack (24-6) end their season as a district runner-up after playing in their first district final as TCNE.

The 2025 NSAA State Volleyball Championships are scheduled for Nov. 5-8 in Lincoln.

From Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota, Wayne State College secured a 34-0 shutout win at Concordia-St. Paul.

The Wildcats (5-4/5-3 NSIC/3-1 South) will return to the road on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Sioux Falls with kickoff at 1 p.m.

Back on their home court at Rice Auditorium, #6 WSC swept Minnesota Crookston (25-13, 25-9, 25-9).

Wayne State College (22-3/15-1 NSIC) has now won nine straight and will next visit Minot State on Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. and University of Mary on Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. both in North Dakota.
